Our Hampton Inn team in Fultondale, Alabama, was so excited to celebrate Hilton’s 100 Years of Hospitality in May. To mark the occasion, hundreds of hotels around the world extended Hilton hospitality beyond their doors by taking “Random Acts of Hospitality” to their communities. The newly launched Hilton Effect Foundation honors the legacy of Hilton’s founder, who started the world’s first hospitality company 100 years ago to spread international peace through travel.
Our team chose to participate by providing lunch to the men of the in Birmingham, an organization providing shelter and programs for men, women, and children experiencing homelessness. Both a rewarding and humbling experience, our team exemplified both Hilton’s commitment and our own company’s mission of “Improving People’s Lives and the Communities Where They Live.”
