On February 11, 2026, Stafford, in partnership with DSM Real Estate Partners, celebrated the groundbreaking of The Chambray, a JdV by Hyatt boutique hotel set to bring a new hospitality experience to downtown Roswell, Georgia.
Located at the intersection of Alpharetta Highway and Fraser Street—just steps from Canton Street’s vibrant food-and-beverage scene—The Chambray will introduce a five-story, 125-room hotel designed to complement the character and energy of Roswell’s historic core. Stafford serves as co-general partner and co-developer on the project alongside DSM Real Estate Partners, with Indigo Road Hospitality Group set to operate the property.
This development represents an exciting next chapter for downtown Roswell, adding new accommodations, dining destinations, and economic opportunities to one of the region’s most beloved gathering places. The project is expected to generate approximately 350 construction jobs and 30 permanent positions once complete, contributing to the continued vitality of the area.
The Chambray will offer more than just guest rooms. Plans include a rooftop sushi concept, Okujo, featuring indoor and outdoor dining, as well as a coffee and pastry bar within an art-filled lobby space. At street level, Onos, a coastal Mediterranean restaurant and bar, will activate the pedestrian experience, with a second-floor outdoor dining area overlooking the site. Together, these food-and-beverage concepts will provide new destinations for both visitors and the Roswell community.
Situated just north of the Southern Post development, which revitalized a former strip mall site, The Chambray builds on the momentum already shaping Roswell’s downtown into a walkable, dynamic destination. The hotel is scheduled to open in summer 2027.
