Kaiwa Art & Play Space is an art studio and makerspace for children of all ages to explore the creative process, share ideas, and experiment in a non-judgmental and nurturing environment through art-making, inventing, sewing, STEM, and more.
Founded out of a desire to inspire creative confidence in children, Kaiwa Art & Play Space’s year-round programs are designed for kids from toddler through teenager and include weekly daytime classes, after school programs, holiday camps, custom parties, and studio time. An onsite gift boutique features a carefully curated array of art supplies, craft and science kits, toys, books, baby gifts, and more – many of which were sourced from small, independent makers.
Located in the DeBary Commons shopping center (anchored by Winn-Dixie), Kaiwa Art & Play Space opens to the public on August 16, 2022.
