Led by Carol Dubrovin, a group of Stafford associates recently gathered at
the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Central Georgia in Macon for a day
of community service in the kitchen. The mission of RMHC is to provide care and
support for families of seriously ill, critically injured or medically fragile
children being treated at area medical facilities. The organization believes
that home is any place where families are together, providing comfortable beds,
warm meals, hot showers, laundry facilities, internet access, and emotional
support every day of the week with the help of invaluable volunteers.
Armed with bags of groceries and disposable baking dishes, the Stafford team
was eager to show off their culinary prowess. Over the course of several hours,
four crowd-pleasing meals were made from scratch for RMHC families to enjoy.
The recipes were selected using a number of factors, with “freezes and reheats
well” being the among the most important. Below is a list of the easy-to-make
dishes that were prepared.
