On May 15, 2025, ALDI officially opened the doors of its newest location—a 20,264 SF, newly constructed store operating under a 20-year ground lease in Thomaston, Georgia. The store welcomed the public with a strong community turnout and marks a key milestone in the continued growth of the surrounding retail corridor.
Stafford’s development team played a pivotal role in the project, overseeing the civil design, permitting, and construction of all off-site and shared infrastructure. This included the development of shared access drives, utilities, storm management systems, and the master development’s shared monument signage. These improvements were critical to supporting not only the ALDI site but also the larger retail development.
ALDI, as the tenant, managed the civil and architectural design, permitting, and vertical construction of the building and all improvements within its leased footprint.
